If you are planning to have a bath, have you considered a double ended bath? Where the taps are in the middle, this is ideal if you have children and you can put each child at one end of the bath. Double ended baths also allow you to bathe comfortably at either end and are a great alternative to a single ended bath. If you would like to be able to have a shower in your bath, consider having a bath screen instead of a shower curtain to prevent the bathroom from getting covered in splashes and to provide a more streamlined feel.

These can make all the difference to your new bathroom; consider what type of lighting you need and whether you would like under floor heating, for all those winter mornings, a heated towel rail is a fantastic choice too. Mirrors can give the impression of a larger and lighter room and will create a sense of space, so consider your mirror carefully; does it require a light or even additional storage space? The right style of finishing touches will help to enhance the overall look and feel of your new bathroom.
